it's been a while since i last surf the net with my own laptop
feel so good to slack like this in my 2nd home :)
how nice if my right hand can function normally :(

anyways, found this folder in my photo library that contains picture i took when i was in between. in between of being a student and a working adult.

am lucky that the duration wasn't too long for me. as i managed to get myself employed to a social media advertising company. still in the midst of discovering my interest in this field. give me 2 more months, will decide before the bond starts :)

anyways, photos bring back memories. it's been 2 and a half month since i came back from korea. my awesome grad trip ! let me bring myself back to june !

i really need a vacation!

a day off is enough for me at the moment. working during the long weekend is not fun at all. seeing people around me go off for trips, for vacation, for shopping, for slacking session at home really make me jealous jealous and just jealous. my schedule this week is

freeze in the foyer
grab a sucky packed lunch
talk/explain/crap
quick dinner

then sleep.

full stop.
no entertainment. no life :(

i accepted the fact that i look dull and ugly without dressing up since last exam period. so here i go as a different me !

as usual. some illegal photo shooting in the fitting room. think i picked up this bad habit.
and btw, the fitting room in pull and bear, ion orchard is this big =D

i like this top from zara. $9.90 if im not mistaken. but it was too transparent.

it was an awesome day as i went down to skin food jp to collect my complimentary gifts after they delayed my membership card. i didn't buy anything after the eye cream though. so i think they give me more that what i expected already. thanks, skin food! (:

these are what they gave me. crazy right? haha!

i tried the body shampoo. err.. i would say, body shop is better. while the garlic serum is not suitable for my skin. a bit disappointed.

besides all that, the rest of the products are awesome. dont worry. i wont spend my money on these products in singapore. it is overpriced here. BUT BUT! i will remember to ask my friend to buy for me if anyone of them are going to korea! *fingers crossed*

and that makes my collection of skin food PRODUCTS and SAMPLES to date.

apparently the whole room is mine. i am free to use anywhere of the room so i use everywhere of the room.

working at MT is actually fun. short working hours according the my friends but i have to work at home. and working on weekends is not fun at all! i dont get to sit in an air cond room for the whole day. most of the time i need to travel to different places to meet different people like students, educators, clients etc.

sometimes my schedule is too flexible that i can work for 11.5 hours on monday, off day one tuesday. 9.5 hours everday from tmr till sunday! yes. i dont have my holiday for wesak. ARGH!!

i just wanna do whatever i wanna do on my off day! and other than that, i think i kinda enjoy my work there. they are treating me very good (thus far)

let's hope that i get to learn more from here and get to meet more awesome people. 2 weeks over. 10 more weeks to go (:

something to share:

i ordered this $3.90 opera from Swiss Bake, Raffles Xchange while waiting for Tammy, Gyn and Carol for lunch. so after i had a bite, i realized it tasted so much different from what i understand about an opera. so i asked the manager whether it is supposed to be sour.

So the friendly manager asked me to try their signature cake while waiting for him to check the reason out for me. so free cake, why not? this NONAME cake is much more better than that opera. HAHA! i didnt make an effort to remember the name of this NONAME cake but it was yummy! will definitely go for this one again when i visit raffles again.

so the conclusion is, there was nothing wrong with their opera, it's the taste of the alcohol according to the manager. alright, acceptable. but dont try to think that i'm a dumb. the opera that i had is no longer fresh lar hello. HAHA! i was a barista last time ohkay! *cough*

greetings. HAHA!

i have officially shifted to hall 1 and will be staying here until july/august. will blog about it.

and besides, i am now an intern in Math Teach, a seminar center. will also blog about it when i am ready. =.=

home sweet home was too tedious to blog about so i will just let it stay in fb.

basically i try to enjoy my intern life. to meet up with friends after work. and to explore the interesting side of singapore.

first day: Chippy British Take Away ( as u can read ), Raffles City Mall

so if u could see, tammy is in the picture. that's what we had after our tiring first day of work. BTA serves crunchy fish and chips but the portion is too big for our stomach.

second day: 18 chefs, Tiong Bahru Plaza

i am working at kembangan and fyi kembangan is..... click here. and the nearest mrt station from where i am staying is pioneer. spot it yourself. thank you.

so... the point is.. i will always feed myself before i come back to ntu. sorry larh. i dont like to starve myself. haha!

that's 18 chef's at tiong bahru plaza. tried the same thing in east point mall about 1 year ago. not bad. and their student meal is affordable anyway.

on a happier note, i finally bring myself to ah loy thai after shoooohhhhhhhh long! ah loy is my all time favourite! HAHA!

if u realize,
i've been chion-ing at lee wee nam library / hall 8 study room / hall 10 study room since 2 or 3 weeks ago.

scary.
every exams are haunting me.

i can tell you loudly that i am catching up my weekly work pretty fine this semester,
not to forget my 16 AUs of classes and 8 hours of work per week.
i think i utilized my time quite well and managed to play hard too.
(i syiok sendiri but i am happy ♥ )

if u wanna tell me that i look slack or u think i have been playing too much
i dont care.
at least i know what i am doing.
and i know jogging and spending time talking to friends everyday have now become my destressing act.
glad to have a daily routine like this but i miss sleeping.

10 In Hall 10 Escapes To UBIN!

i spent the whole weekend with the hall 10-nners last week. sooo many photos taken. AWESOME 10 in hall 10!

let me tell the story with my fantastic photos =) since that's the way i record my memories.

me as the leader leading a group of 6 to pulau ubin at 1030am.

reached ubin at around 2. boat there with a group of korean. through the rain haha!

dinner at a seafood restaurant. bbq is not feasible in pulau ubin so we canceled the plan. seafood was our choice! the food was not as good as i expected. but the price surprised me =)

pulau ubin has nothing but darkness and quietness at night. so that's our night time activities. i respect myself for winning a total of 4 rounds of mahjong! (: me is wonderful as a newbie in mahjong!

this is the game they played and one of the games that i can never understand the trick- bang!
too stupid no choice =(

emo-ing outside our chalet is also written in my "checklist in ubin". talked to kwai han and recalled how we spent a sleepless night together in year 1. i will never ever forget!
that's me obviously on the left, the view from our shoes to the crazy 10-nners playing BORED games, and piao emo-ing with heineken.

we chit-chat, we emo, we played board games, we sing songs, we view photos, we went mid night walk around our chalet and we went to bed.

i was greeted by mr sunshine the next day and it felt like we're back to our year one. where we get to see each other so easily. we woke each other up in the morning. we bullied each other. we care for each other.
we were like family! aww.. i miss ourselves!

Right after my japanese class, i rushed for my econs tutorial lesson. and since i was of 5 mins late, i sat myself on one of the seats at the last row. even though there are 2 tall students in front of me, i could see the words projected on the white board clearly. so I didn't bother to change place. this happens when i start copying the answers from the board.

Scene 2:
Venue: TR 100
Time: ~2.35pm

the lecturer walks towards me, bending down and ask:

Teacher: Can you see from here?
Me: Err.. Yes?
The girl beside me: Yes, yes.
Teacher: (looking at the girl beside me) Ya, i know you can see but i don't think you (me) can see from here.

i look at the girl beside me and wonder, is it because she is wearing a specs? or he wants to say that i am too short? then the lecturer bend down and try to look at the board from where i sit.

Teacher: (acting like a hip hop singer with that kind of hand) OH, I cannot see from here.
Me: ..........

Ok, i don't really know is he praising my good eyesight too? or is he trying to say anything bad?

anyway, the story of the day is, i started to feel proud with my eyesight. (: sometimes i do feel weak or tiredness on my eyes but yet, i think i am lucky compared to people of my age. I mean ONLY in this eyesight matter. (: thank god, thanks mum and dad. HAHA!

the 2 scenarios above reminded me of a friend who was trying to take out my lens by not believing me saying that i dont wear a specs/lens. LOL!

i am getting more and more indiscipline these days.

starting from unplanned spending on skin food,
then extra spending on snacks like chocolates and juices (which i have quit for QUITE a while),
then to the un-TAHAN-ness of staying in uni for more than... 4 days? and need to get out to breathe,
then to extended sleeping hours to 8 hours per day,
and to pushing my study schedule behind and far far behind every schedule,
then to reducing gym session from 2 times to 1 time per week.

what am i doing?
it's been a while since i last step onto a treadmill ( i think last record was last friday).
it's been a while since i blindly walk to can 9 to makan.
it's been a while since i behave NORMALLY in room to online > chatting > study > music.

haha!
anyway i don't see a point of me writing this but what i want to convey here is,
i am out of track!
bring me back to my track and be DISCIPLINED!

i can't sleep!!

a quick update here:

1) the stupid bastard is supposed to leave by tuesday. and i bumped into him yesterday and he has his clothes hanging outside his room just now. so ya. still there. =S

2) i got myself a temp staff position in the Alumni Affairs Office and will start working this week. HAPPY! i will work hard and earn more and try to pull my friends in so that we can earn extra money together (:

3) shop alot recently but most of the stuffs i bought are not for myself. happy though.

4) receive MUFFIN from MUFFIN! taste like heaven! i crave for more!

5) more and more outings and gatherings are coming:

the witness chose not to lodge a police report
and decided to let the school to take over the case.

what disappoint me the most was,
the campus security let that bastard go
and he is now still staying in his room at MY BLOCK, 3rd floor.
yes. he is still in his room now.
just 1 level up from my room.

scary.

he has no guilt at all.
he admitted that this is his second time doing this fucking shit.

it's holiday now!
but this holiday seem so different.

i have a wonderful group of friends named the baoz. they said those that stay furthest from penang got better privilege. haha yup. they woke themselves up at 0600hr and rushed to pick me up at the terminals. and i have to dedicate this phrase to miss CH'NG CHOO WAEY!! HOW CAN U PPK US JUST BECAUSE U WANT TO SLEEP!!!

3 weeks away from them feels like 3 years. HAHA~! and miss ho, im gonna miss u. hope to see u for xmas okay?! take care over there. i know u came bk BECAUSE OF ME. the breakfast becomes so special with your presence (:

first day home was awesome, as i got to sleep through the sunday afternoon. went shopping with ma, spent some money, got my present from her, emo a while, quiet for a while, tired for a while, and off i leave for mag's new house at farlim!! =)

we were about 2 mins of walking distance from canteen 9 and this stupid roomie said, "i don't mind treating you prata for dinner geh~"

then i opened my eyes widely, drag her hand and said, "on!"

"OMG!!"

that's what we said. hahaha! *head back to our room and start changing while laughing*

this is her new found prince. im so happy for her (:

we didn't go far. we went jp. haha!

this is the place that i have visited QUITE OFTEN recently but have never blogged about. so i think i shall now "talk" about this restaurant: Prata Wala, Jurong Point, now opened 24 hrs just for you~

i tell you, they sell good prata!! big enough to feed me haha! this egg onion (telur bawang) and egg (roti telur) prata only cost me $4.05. yes, cost ME!! cuz i paid for it. :( it is of course more expensive if you compare it to the prata(s) sold at the hawker center. but believe me, this is worth trying =)

we finished up quick and proceeded to New York New York! for desserts!! wow!! i kind of regret applying for the membership card though. they make me visit them so frequently =( my pocket is crying already lar! BUT!!! this time lzt settled the bill. *phew~!* (thank you lohhhh~)

they changed their menu... layout!! haha! how can they always give me good pictures to temp my saliva?? evil larr!! *roars*

conquering the peach and pineapple waffle. ohh i miss the syiok-ness already!

im not a big fan for waffle/desserts but this cutie can really make me fly~~

we managed to get a cubicle. (is it called cubicle?) and in conjunction of the exam season, we MUG there! yeah! quite effective and they didn't even disturb/distract us. they even top up our plain water when the water level is low. yes i know it's their job but most of the restaurants' crew don't practice this anymore right?

we piar for about 1 hour plus, then the waitress came and gave us a cotton candy!! if you know NYNY, they actually give out cotton candy for free, but i think people usually ask for it cuz i asked for it once haha! i dont know why that waitress did that but i was just too surprised that they didn't give us the so-called "pressure" but free us a candy in stead!

roomie and i were too full but as a manner, we accepted the candy (: hehe! sacrifice our stomach once a while marr. it was a bit wasted as we melted the left overs in the drinks. sorrieeeee... my stomach cannot store it anymore.. T_T

preparation of final exams can be as relaxing as you like. it depends on how you manage your time and work.

haha! i just cannot let my blog being so dead! I SHALL UPDATE!!!

so now i am sitting (studying) in my room. waiting for the the time to fly~~ HAHA!! im having a mid term paper later. so happy!!

WHAT? no no !! i am not prepared yet!! it's just that i have been suffering from all these mid term papers since............. few weeks ago? IT IS TORTURING OH-KAY! why do mid terms feel like finals?? hmph.... ):

everyone is asking for more time to get their stuffs done. but now i am not! i just hope that time passes faster so that i can go out and enjoy. i cant wait for thursday evening anymore. i cant wait to meet aunt for a night stay in the hotel!! *wheeeeee* ohhh i've got so many things to do after my thursday paper!! hahahaha!

a simple little thing is enough to cheer myself up. i know that "relaxation" does not apply to the life of an undergrad every day. so i treasure every moment i spend as long as i am with the right person(s) (:

for example:

(i) a random not so authentic dim sum breakfast @ pioneer on a random sunday morning:-

(iii) another masak-masak session to welcome our recess week:-

(iv) movie screening in my room before von and theng went back to their respective home T.T

yes, the proposal. =) the movie that i missed and so wanted to watch! i am a big fan of romance comedy. "the proposal" is now listed as one of my favourites. =) they are so romantic can????

(v) a real movie in a cinema this time. i have not been stepping into a cinema since........... july? i think so.. ya now moive:-

the ugly truth. yes. the truth is ugly! (sometimes) i love the way Katherine Heigl dances in the movie. it reminds me of the siao poh-ness of judy hong! hahaha! and i seriously love how they scold each other with all the vulgar words! that i will never ever dare to let it out from my mouth in the public. hahaha! this is really recomemded. go and get your ticket if u havent do. with ocbc debit card, u are entitled for a $2 off for each ticket at any Golden Village Cinemas =)

(vi) my all time favourite: karaoke session:-

this is the first time i try k-box. impressive! the sound system was simply AWESOME! look at how i select songs! it's TOUCH SCREEN! omg! so advanced!! i didn't know that! so now i can officially forget about the ulu sing k venue @ city harvest. haha! so k-kakis, next time K-BOX okay?

(vii) last one: SHOP FOR CHEAP STUFFS!

guess what? i got this blue shorts for only SGD$ 2 !!!! damn omg right? it's from Cotton On! CHEAP SALE people! damn crazy! i bought this at the mall right opposite ikea!!! im gonna love it like hell. simply because it is FREAKINGLY CHEAP!!!

i understand that this problem memang exist but i never heard or deal with any sensitive examples of discriminating a malaysian. interesting!

i met amy after the students' union investiture. amy's my old old friend from my orientation group-tarquinious back in my first year. we talked about some experience we had since we got admitted into ntu. we share some thoughts and of course we update each other about life. it was really nice catching up with her. should really plan some dinner dates with her or the group.

life in year one is always an emo one for everybody i guess. and after talking to amy, i feel that i am now so old! OMG! im a year three student and i have gone through so much! and the way she speaks really inspire me alot!! haha.. i don't know why but ya~ i think that i should really really brush up my ang mor! hahahaha!

so in conclusion. this is nothing but just a blog. it's just a place for me to practice my writing. hahahahahah! and u can simply ignore this blog. =P hahahahahahahahahhaha!

yes, i spent yesterday. not as much as i have expected since i know i haven't been really shop for any new stuffs recently. i remember i told myself to manage my money wisely and yes, i did it! with budget spending that is enough to make me happy (:

i bought a pair of sandals and a pair of flip-flop since there are sales in the city.

talking about new stuffs, let me end the post with a thank-you note to 3 of my friends in ntu. the dedications really made my day =)

today was great! i saw rain! i walked/ran in the rain! i tasted the rain too! =)

[10 in hall 10] had their first official steamboat gathering @ block 50 today. it was a postponed event actually. and surprisingly i miss sai leong's square face so much when i met them up for the blow-water session. oh, i had a long hour meeting in the evening so i din get to take part in the preparation and makan session =(

besides, we celebrated WONG SOON LEONG's birthday! it was a post celebration actually. i swear we didnt forget about your birthday! we chose to celebrate on friday instead of thursday so that everyone can really sit down and slack. =)

we had fun.. we chilled.. we laugh and we are still 10 in hall 10, that's all i can say =)

so after the long, tiring day, i came back to my room. roomie told me that we have less interactions these days. i agreed. but i know it is because we both are quite busy these few days and everytime we come back to our room. we will be too tired to talk to each other. and i just realize that we didn't meet up for dinner this week. damn sad right?

i had a short conversation with a friend after the meeting in the evening. and i realize that most of the people feel happier when their roomie is not around. it's a norm. but for me, and my roommate, we dont think so. haha! we tend to feel lonely without each other in the room. especially at night. =P so dont worry roomie, sometimes i just dont feel like talking when i am unhappy or too emo. i know you too! so i promise to teman u more this weekend la okay? *smiles*
